For sale my beloved Tiger Super Six - Number 110 that I've had for four great years. 1.6L Vulcan racing, race prepared Ford 711M Crossflow engine Tiger Orange. This car was built in 1995 by Tiger Racing themselves. It was originally built to race, and raced in some Tiger Series’ during the 90’s. It was actually put together by the boss of Tiger Racing, Jim Dudley and raced by the established racing driver Kevin Jones. The previous owner purchased the car direct from Jim Dudley, founder of Tiger in 1995, he used it for a couple of years, driving only about 500 miles in that time and then garaged it for about 17 years. Recommissioned in 2014. It's visceral, you can smell the world around you; the trees, the grass, the rain. You’re sitting literally inches from the tarmac. Having a power to weight ratio of about 200bhp per tonne in a car like this feels seriously quick. The noise it makes is immense, especially for a 4 cylinder. There’s a turbo-boost like power band, presumably due to the type of cam it has fitted to it, that goes crazy between 4-6k revs. Very addictive! This is a solid and strong car, with a four speed gearbox forward box and reverse. It has a gearbox extension unit to move the gear stick nearer the driver which I'd not seen before but it's not noticably different to use. Car has 13 inch rims and tyres in good condition, having bought 4 new tyres and it's done about 3000 miles since then. The odometer mileage is supported by the many MoT certificates and two thirds of it's mileage has been done by me. The only thing wrong is the petrol gauge is faulty. There are some bits of very minor damage to the fibreglass here and there due to age and usage, and perhaps some light cracking of the Orange finish on the bonnet section. Happy to drive interested parties but would require specific insurance for a test drive.
