This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, Supercar Fest Sale of Iconic and Classic Cars 2024 on Saturday the 18th of May, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northampton, NN6 0BN. In late 1993, the Ferrari 348 was revised with a few subtle styling changes (front grille, rear chrome Cavallino and removable seat cushions), and now boasted 320bhp from the same 3.4-litre engine in F119H-spec with an increased compression ratio (10.8-1), modified camshaft timing, a new exhaust and a Bosch Motronic 2.7 engine management system. This 1994 348 Spider is indeed one of these later cars and was supplied new by Lancaster Ferrari Colchester in July 1994. It's one of only 68 right-hand drive cars built to UK-spec and is classically finished in Rosso Corsa with Crema leather, double stitched in red and sports enamel Scuderia Shields. From 16 years ownership by our vendor, it's accompanied by a comprehensive and up to date service history. The service record shows: September 1995 - mileage 2,141 - Lancaster Colchester service September 1997 - mileage 3,695 - Lancaster Colchester service and cambelts April 1999 - mileage 6,093 - Evans Halshaw service November 1999 - mileage 8,786 - Evans Halshaw service March 2002 - mileage 15,558 - Evan Halshaw service November 2008 - mileage 32,234 - Autostrasse cambelts and service May 2011 - mileage 44,678 - Autostrasse service The car's most recent attention was on 15th July 2022 by SBR Engineering of Aylesbury at 45,975 miles and included cam belts, a full 18,000 mile service, new clutch, rear brakes, new fuel lines, water pump, cam gaskets, gearbox seals - all totalling £7,080. Other work has included wheel refurbishment, four new Bridgestone tyres and new radiators and catalysts. It's accompanied by all the correct manuals, original toolkit, Ferrari car cover and a steering wheel cover. The odometer currently indicates 46,591 miles and the MOT (no advisories) expires in April 2025. The outstanding condition of this beautiful Ferrari is certainly commensurate with its impeccable service history, all of it suggesting caring ownership, and once viewed, it will be difficult to resist the joy of open-top touring with that glorious V8 soundtrack in the background.
